What is Certification?
Intuit, the maker of QuickBooks, offers two types of certification to validate your knowledge and skills:
The Certified QuickBooks User exams prove that you know how to use QuickBooks for a business (either Desktop or Online).
The Certified Bookkeeping Professional Exam validates your bookkeeping and accounting skills beyond QuickBooks.
How do I get it?
You can take the exams at universities and technical schools, which cost $130 each. But if you take our classes, we pay for your certification, and you can take the test from the comfort of your home! With Complete Training & Live Help, you get all three Intuit end-user certification exams and a retake for each.
Certification is a must-have for anyone who wants to work as a Bookkeeper and use QuickBooks.
To cancel your membership, send an email to [email protected] within 30 days of purchase, and you'll receive a refund.
if you schedule or complete any certification exams within your 30 days, we deduct the cost of the exams ($130 each) from your refund.
If you cancel your membership after 30 days, you'll lose access to the live 2-day QuickBooks class, live mini-classes and Live Help. But you'll keep your self-paced classes FOREVER (including all future updates).
We teach classes for the most current versions of QuickBooks. Don't worry if you have a different version or edition because the Instructor points out the differences.
If none of the scheduled 2-day classes work for you, Complete Training & Live Help includes training options that fit any schedule:
Self-paced:
You can learn at your own pace and watch a self-paced version of the class that includes the same topics. The self-paced class takes about 10 hours to complete, but you can pause and step away from the training, and it keeps track of where you left off. You can also rewatch any part of the class whenever you want.
1-hour instructor-led classes:
You can learn from a series of 1-hour classes over two weeks (or longer)!
Live QuickBooks Help:
Get all your questions answered using Live Help, a program we've developed that lets you speak to a k QuickBooks instructor and share your screen so you can solve problems in YOUR QuickBooks!
Self-paced classes:
The Crash Course in Bookkeeping class and QuickBooks Foundations class both have hands-on exercises. For other self-paced classes, you can pause the class and switch to your QuickBooks to practice hands-on.
Live Help:
Yes, this is absolutely hands-on. You'll share your screen with an instructor and use your own QuickBooks during your session.
Bookkeeping Fundamentals mini-classes:
Yes! You'll receive hands-on exercises so you can work along with the instructor and learn accounting.
2-day class and most live mini-classes:
The instructor shares their screen and uses QuickBooks to guide you through everything you need to use QuickBooks effectively. You can work along with them, but usually, it's best to observe them and the lessons they present.
No. You can view the training on any device with an internet connection.
You'll attend a Zoom webinar, and the Instructor will share their screen and video. You watch from anywhere convenient for you, and can listen through your computer or phone. You'll ask questions through a Q&A window. You will not be on camera at all.
You'll take the exam online using an internet browser like Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.
The Live 2-day QuickBooks class provides all the basics to work in QuickBooks effectively. The class also reviews everything on the QuickBooks user certification exam. You can use our practice materials to check your knowledge.
