Frequently asked questions
You'll learn how to use QuickBooks and get answers to your questions for $599.95. You'll also receive a 275+ page manual, certification prep materials, and after class you can take the Intuit QuickBooks Certified User exam ($130 value) for free!
After you sign up, you'll receive a confirmation email that guarantees your seat in the class. The confirmation includes all your class details, including how to access the class and the downloadable manual. The day before class, you'll receive an email from your Instructor with additional info and some tips to prepare so you get the most out of class. About an hour before class begins, you'll receive an email from Zoom with the Join link. Start writing down your questions now and bring them to class!
What is Certification?
Intuit, the maker of QuickBooks, offers two types of certification to validate your knowledge and skills:
The Certified QuickBooks User exams prove that you know how to use QuickBooks for a business (either Desktop or Online).
The Certified Bookkeeping Professional Exam validates your bookkeeping and accounting skills beyond QuickBooks.
How do I get it?
You can take the exams at universities and technical schools, which cost $130 each (plus possible fees at the testing location). But if you take our classes, we’ll pay for your certification exam!
You get all three Intuit end-user certification exams and a retake for each with Complete Training & Live Help.
Or you can take the 2-day class and receive a single exam (and a free retake) for the version of QuickBooks you learned.
Certification is a must-have for anyone who wants to work as a Bookkeeper and use QuickBooks.
To cancel your seat in a live class, please notify us at [email protected] before the first day of your class, and you'll receive a full refund.
If you attend the first day of class and it doesn't meet your expectations, just email us at [email protected] by the end of the first day. Please note that we don't provide refunds if you miss the class or reschedule past 60 days from purchase. However, we'll keep your credit so that you can attend another class in the future. If you have to miss the class, chat with a training advisor to reschedule.
We teach separate Live classes for the most current versions of QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop. Don't worry if you have a different version or edition because the instructor points out the differences. The only version of QuickBooks we don't offer classes for is QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
Chat with a training advisor, and we'll reschedule you to attend another class of your choice. If you don't know which date you'll be able to attend, don't worry! We'll just keep your credit on file so you can reschedule later.

Self-paced:
You can learn at your own pace and watch a self-paced version of the class that includes the same topics. The self-paced class takes about 10 hours to complete, but you can pause and step away from the training, and it keeps track of where you left off. You can also rewatch any part of the class whenever you want.
1-hour instructor-led classes:
You can learn from a series of 1-hour classes over two weeks (or longer)!
Live QuickBooks Help:
Get all your questions answered using Live Help, a program we've developed that lets you speak to a k QuickBooks instructor and share your screen so you can solve problems in YOUR QuickBooks!

The instructor shares their screen and uses QuickBooks to guide you through everything you need to use QuickBooks effectively. You can work along with them, but usually, it's best to observe them and the lessons they present.
No. You can view the training on any device with an internet connection.
You'll attend a Zoom webinar, and the instructor will share their screen and video. You can watch from anywhere convenient for you, through your computer or phone. You'll ask questions through a Q&A window. You will not be on camera at all.
You'll take the exam online using an internet browser like Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.
The Live 2-day class provides all the basics to work in QuickBooks effectively. The class also reviews most of the certification exam material (about 85%). You can use our practice materials to fill in the remaining gaps.
Because Complete Training and Live Help contains more training (over 200+ hours), it provides training for all certification exams.
Yes! You'll get an option at check-out to add more seats for a discount.
We have a self-paced version of the class that you can watch at your own pace as often as you want. That version of the class is available with Complete Training & Live Help. As an attendee of the live 2-day class, you do not receive a recording of the class. To access that, you'll need Complete Training & Live Help.
