We’ve trained over a million customers how to get the most out of QuickBooks...but we began with a focus on 1 business at a time. And 1 million customers later, that focus is still a key part of our culture and training philosophy.
In 1992, David O'Brien, CPA, started a one-on-one accounting service that specialized in small business accounting software (not very common back then)! He noticed that most of his time was spent fixing mistakes that users didn’t need to make. This led to a thought that has become another part of our training philosophy, “QuickBooks users can save a lot of time, money and frustration, if they just learned to avoid the mistakes in the first place.” And so Real World Training was born.
The company grew and in 1998 Intuit (the makers of QuickBooks) officially endorsed Real World Training as their QuickBooks training partner (quite an honor then...and now). Although a separate company, Real World Training works very closely with Intuit to help improve QuickBooks, train customer support teams and create special classes and certifications.
Real World Training has focused on teaching QuickBooks users since 1992...that’s all we do.
