Support for CD/DVD Training

I can not install multiple products

Problem:  When I try and install more than one training product, I get an error message

In rare cases, installing more than one Mastering QuickBooks product on the same computer may cause a bug that prevents you from installing other training products.

Solution: Uninstall each product as you go!

From your Start menu, select All Programs.  Scroll down the list of programs (they’re in alphabetical order) until you find your training product.

Click to open the product folder.  Next, select the Uninstall icon.  Follow the Wizard’s instructions to remove the product from your computer. 

Now, install a different training product.  If problems continue, uninstall each product before installing the next.

 

There are no other known issues at this time

However, if you are experiencing a problem, the following tips solve most issues:

Windows:

  • If you are having difficulty installing the training, ensure you are logged in as an Administrator.
  • If installation was successful, but the training isn’t playing correctly, install the latest version of flash.
  • Some courses require an internet connection. Make sure you have a good wifi connection or plug in an internet cable for the best performance.
  • Reboot your computer (if you haven’t rebooted already)

Macintosh:

  • Get the latest version of the QuickTime player
  • Restart your system

No. You'll need a computer with a CD or DVD drive.

No. Our CD/DVD training is designed to use the disc during the training.

Can I copy the training for other persons in the office?

No. The training is copyrighted and is licensed to just one user. You may purchase additional copies at a discount by calling our office at 800-564-2688.

Will they play on my Mac?

Our Learning QuickBooks for Mac CD teaches you how to use the Mac version of QuickBooks and is our only product designed to play on a Mac. However, you can use our other PC based training products if you run the Windows OS via parallels on your mac. Or simply purchase an OnDemand version of our course instead of a DVD. All of our OnDemand courses can be accessed from a Mac with no problems.
